the yfz is fine for all around use, and so is the trx. the difference is that the trx is better suited for trail and rec riding where as the yfz is better off in the dunes and on the mx track. look at the kind of riding you do, and that should help your decision. Its also good to go to the dealerships or your local riding area and get on one. a few minutes on a bike can really change the way you look at it.

I believe both of the quads you want were designed for racing. Thats great if you are a racer but not so good if you are a trail rider.

I agree, how can you go wrong with either 450, they both kick butt. I do intend to buy a new quad in the next week or two and I can't wait any longer! I sold a Banshee about 7 months ago and I've missed having a quad since then. In Arizona you can't get your hands on a new TRX unless you are willing to pay $7300 PLUS, but I can get a YFZ450 for $6900 out OTD. I plan on doing basic trail riding now but want the thrill of a 2 stroke Banshee (I think the new 450's are the only thing to come close from what I have seen posted). If I do buy a YFZ and use it for trail riding only will I regret it? I would be just as happy with a TRX but I can't wait another 6 months for the prices to become resonable, they should be $400 LESS then a YFZ!

Thanks..

Matt
