Slick50 fuel system cleaner in Recon?

Hurt, probably not!
Help, probably not!
Use a good source of fuel, from clean plastic cans. Fuel additives are a waste of money.
Why would you want to use an additive like this, especially in a new machine? Not required and won't do anything but lighten your pocket book.

If there is any dirt in the gas tank then the solution is to flush it. An additive won't remove stuff like that. The cleaner additives are targeting varnish build up in the system. You shouldn't be seeing this on a new machine.
If you think it is a problem then there are two ways to solve it. 1. Take the tank off and flush it out or 2. Pull the fuel line off the bottom of the tank, turn the valve to reserve, and run enough fluid through the tank to flush the particles out the bottom (not the ideal way to flush it).
On the other hand. A good in-line filter will pick up particles quite nicely. If you can see the particles, the filter will have no trouble trapping them. Personally I would probably go with solution 2 above, then let the filter get any particles that remain.
Good luck,
