I have a 60" CC plow on my Rancher 4x4 ES. It plows great, deepest snow i pushed with it was 24". It was a SOB to plow that much, but it did it. I recommend installing the rubber flap on the plow, surely if you plan to plow powder snow or deep snow. Keeps the snow from coming back over the blade. I have also used the plow to push trails and cleanup a rutted 300yard stone driveway for the owner of the property i hunt. The 60" is the only plow at full angle that will cover the width of the ATV.

my rancher pushes snow alot better then i ever could've imagined. here in maine just within the last couple of weeks we got about a foot of new snow with 2 foot drifts or better. i pushed up a wall of snow higher then my handlebars and decided i should push it all back a couple feet further. no problem, blasts right thru snow. everytime i ride my rancher i'm more impressed by it.

If you think it's bad trying to get a decent deal on a new machine, try buying a used one. I looked for nearly six months at used junk that still demanded top dollar, both from dealers and private sales. Finally, I found a decent Honda 300 4x4, a 98. The dealer wanted $4000 Cdn for it, and it wasn't in bad shape, but had definitely been used, had quite a few miles on it. I also had a line on two more, another 300 and a 400. I went out , trailer in tow, determined to come back with an atv. I stopped on the way and tried to beat down the dealer with the 98, no way, it was take it or leave it. On the way to look at the other two, I remembered a small, out of the way Honda dealer maybe an hour off my route, and decided to drop in to see what he had.
What he had was the best selection of used and new atv's in the province, at the lowest prices I'd seen. I picked up a 96 400 Foreman in mint condition, that was still warm from being traded in that morning (this was around noon), for nearly $600 Cdn less than the 98 I'd looked at earlier that day. Quick, easy, and painless... I'd recommend McKay Brothers in Tatamagouche, NS to anyone looking for a great deal. A friend of mine subsequently also got a 450 Foreman from them, nearly $1000 less than anyone else's prices.
