Ok, first, when you are balanced in 2nd, give it a little more gas to where it is on the verge of coming back past the balance point, then in a lightning fast motion- shift into third, and as it starts to fall down give it some gas, this will keep it from falling. DONT be afraid if you feel it start to come back on you, just hit the rear brake while holding on, the fear will go away after you do this a few times.

wheelies
I had a 1986 atc 250r three-wheeler that i spent the winter restoring, we were riding down a gravel road . I down shifted from 4th to 3rd and brought the front end up. I was wheeling pretty darn good for a long ways , so i figured id grabe another gear. the nose droped and i gased it , powerband came on and that was the end of it . the rear grab hit ,she did a 180 ,landed headlight, front fender, handelbars, radiator, and gas cap down.bloody elbows and a rasberry the size of a pancake on ur a$$ is'nt worth it . I would practice ,knee on the seat and ready to abandon ship.
