Default highest compression piston on pump gas

OK, I have a CT racing 440ex engine and the compression is 13.5:1 and runs on race fuel, it as loads of power but im not spending $3.00 a gallon on gas. what is the highest compression piston I can get away with on 93 octane below 4000 feet? Also, what is the best piston to go with? post a link if you know one that will suit my needs.

11:1 is about it. Anymore than that and you will get into detonation problems with pump gas.

That would be a no no!! New rings cant seat correctly without crosshatch... Even with only 15 hours on it i bet that bore has some glazing... Remember when you cut corners it comes back to bite you in your a$$ later...

Nothing over 11.5:1 will run on 93 pump gas.
