I was wondering if anyone has seen a 240 cc blaster with nos?? If any one has, will it outrun a stock 400ex? A friend of mine just bored his blaster over to a 240 and has had nos for a while. I smoked him when he was stock with nos..I was telling him how crazy he was for running nos and race gas in a blaster with only a alien pipe on it. He eventually blew it up at buttercup sand dunes and rebuilt it to a 240 with nos and alien pipe. So if anyone knows if this will outrun a 400ex let me know...

Im sorry if this is true which i highly doubt. Youd be blown out of the water with a piped blaster w/ nos.
If that 240 has all the bolt on goodies, is ported, and is tuned good then yes it will out run you. If its missing any three of the things I just said then no it wont....

Apperantly youve never seen any type of quad run on NOS. It makes a big differnce from the ones ive seen at a drag strip out in Oregon. Your running a stock 400ex vs a piped 240cc w/ NOS? Maybe youll get lucky and the blasters engine will blow in a run, but that is really the only way you will beat it.

LMAO do you think I dont have experience with drag racing? FYI, I used to own a 240 blaster guy. A stock blaster goes about 7.6 in 300ft. A stock 400ex goes about 6.3 in 300ft. If you took that blaster and resleeved it with a 240 sleeve, threw a pipe on it, and a bottle of nos. Your not going to go faster than 6.3 Sorry man. If he had all the bolt ons and was ported the "nos" might make a bigger diffrence. PLUS if you had a 240 blaster with everything you can do to it + nos its still not going to do much untill you extend the swingarm, and gear it way up.

bootbos, a non properly built blaster thats a 240, not running with components like nitrous or race gas(which mred said he ran on) isn't anything special. Just a 240 bore wont do much. If he runs race gas my guess is he has high compression+nitrous which will deffinattly take a stock 400ex. But like Dragracer said if the guy didn't do any of the susspension changes its pretty pointless, but the blaster would still take the 400ex
