My 86 250r has very mushy front brakes. The brakes are completely stock but you have to pull the lever all the way to the handlebar to get them to really lock up. I have tried to bleed the brakes in every possible way that I know but I always end up with the same mushiness. The master cylinder is rebuilt also. Do I have an internal leak or something? Any help would be appreciated.

I assume you still have the rubber brake lines. Over time these lines will stretch and give you the mushy feel you are xperiencing. Replace them with steel braided lines and it will solve your problem.
