Default 250x rear axle questions

I got a '87 250x, the rear end was just kind of thrown back together so it would roll. the lock nut on the axle isn't tight and there are two clips or somthing on the axle. Could someone scan their 250x Honda shop manual on how the rear end goes together? Thanks.

There should be a snap ring that slides on the axle,in the grove. Then the collar with 2 nuts push against that to hold it tight. That all screws together backwards compared to what it seems like it should. If you need more info. I'll try to help you.

Default 250x rear axle questions

Last night I tried putting it together. It looks to have a lone star double wide carrier. It said somthing like LS-H2-1/2000 figured the LS was Lonestar?

It went together pretty smooth, but somthing aint right. I put the snap ring in the groove in the axle, but then there was this round ring that was too big to fit in the groove, so that is between the snap ring and nut right now. It also seems like the nut ran out of threads when tightening it, almost like there should have been a spacer between the nut and snap ring? Or do I have the round ring in the wrong spot?

The wide nut about 1 inch wide has a grove in one end of it. that end will slip over the snap ring and hide it from view. There also should be a skinny nut that jams the fat one tight. They are both on the threaded collar that pushes against the brake hub. If it doesnt come tight maybe your extra piece should go between disc and threaded collar.

Took it apart again, tried putting the round ring next to the bearing, didn't get very far and it didn't seem right. The other snap ring looks like a normal snap ring with the two holes in it that snap ring pliers fit in nicely. In this diagram it looks like one of the clips goes over by the sprocket hub?
