Default 250R laid to rest?

250R prices have gone through the floor here in the south.

The last few races I have gone to, the 250R guys who have ran pro have switched over to YFZ and 450Rs this season. One guy remains on a 250R and he told me he had too muh invested in it and was going to get another year out of it before putting a sign on it.

I figured these quads would trickle down to the amateur guys, but it hasn't. Those guys are going with new machinery as well.....LOL

I love the 250R, but it's hard to find one that hasn't been run to death, and when you find one that hasn't, it's not worth the asking price. Even if you had one looking good, you still have a transmission with over 15 years use on it and Honda disontinued most of those parts 3 years ago.

I have said it before and I will say it again....the 250R will have about as much respect as a Cannondale after the next 5 years. I not guaranteeing anything, but that's what I see happening.
