Pathfinder, who are you talking too? Blazer316 was the only one who bashed Polaris and then he apologized in a later post. Everyone else had nice things to say about both quads. Am I missing something?? Maybe Greg was right, I'm not as smart as he thought I was.

Wrong Thor, I'm done responding to Greg . . . waste of time & effort!

I'll I can say is the poster of the message should just go drive a ruby and see if he thinks it will suit his needs better.

I owned a 1999 SP500 and found it to be a good machine. I had no problems with it and the friend I sold it to has had no trouble that I know of. Oh no, Greg might be reading this and think I've lost my mind.
I sold the SP500 and bought a Rubicon. It was an excellent dicision. I love the Rubicon. If I was looking to buy an atv and I had a choice knowing what I know about both machines I would buy the Rubicon. It's the best quad for me. I just put a set of Mud Bugs on it. Great tires.

Don't tell anyone, but if the Rubicon wouldn't have been $800 dollars more, I may have bought on.
Enjoy your new ride.

Rubione, which is faster in a dragrace anyway, a Rubicon or Sportsman 500?

Greg, for the record, I understood your origional post and that you were joking. I was mainly replying to the replies that your posts seem to generate. Before you know it, things get way outta hand when someone takes something the wrong way. I usually find myself laughing outloud at many of the posts. Like I said, I think if the same group of people were standing around talking instead of posting text, We wouldn't have much bashing or name calling. I myself can't understand this Polaris vs. Honda phenomenom. I happen to have both in my family and enjoy both for different reasons. Happy riding.

The Sp500 is not slightly faster than the Rubie, It's much faster both in acceleration and top speed. I won't even mention the Grizz, but I didn't buy it to win races with. It's a good solid realiable machine to have a lot of fun on.
