I'm also sick of this arguement. I own an sp500 and a honda rancher, so I have had exposure to both drum and disk. I've said this hundreds of times but I'll say it again, the disks on polaris "SUCK". End of story I don't want to argue, but there is absolutely zero reason for me to want disks on my quad. I can assure you the honda will stop faster, although not the greatest comparison since the rancher is lighter, I've ridden plenty of foremans and they also last longer and stop better than polaris.

Obviously the trend in trucks and autos is to go disk and for very good reason, we don't drive on mud and grit for roads. And disks will stop quicker, but in a quad it's a different environment, we go slower, it's nastier and durablity is something that is ever so important . . . something the Polaris engineers have yet to figure out!

I have a 29 day old (Since I bought it) Rubicon.
I love it. I traded in a Trx300 2wd and also have a 450ES. All Hondas come with a 6 month Warranty and you have the entire 6 months to purchase an extended warranty. Entended Warranties were quoted to me as follows:
42 Month - $540
30 Month - $440
18 Month - $380
I've not rode with anyone with a Polaris, But I wouldn't trade my Rubicon for anything right now.

Hope this helps!
