Sometimes when im driving along or I stop to let the engine idle the screen does this flashing mode thing which makes the bike suddenly become in first gear and the letters D1, D2, Esp start flashing. This only happens once in a while does anyone know the problem thanks.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

The exact same thing happened to me just yesterday. I came to a stop, turned the key off and when I turned the key back into the "on" position, it was fine. If this doesn't fix it, there's a series of operations to do that can correct it, but I'm not aware of them. Contact Specta, I think he has the method. There are several posts about this, search 'em and look 'em up for other help. There's a lot of technical parts involved with that tranny. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

I know more people with trouble than without.The bosses brother just took his back for the fourth time.This time it is making a whining noise.Had three speed sensors put in it so far.1100klms on it.

 

Too bad for him. I've got 5,500+ miles and this is the first time it's ever happened and hasn't happened since the other day. If you're bashing the Rubi tranny just let me know because I know it's an awesome system and I don't need to hear you trash talk it and I doubt Accident does either.

 

A buddy I ride with has about 5500 on his too with no probs.A friend of mine got 10000 or so before it gave up the ghost though.
