Default Spark problems - can't find stator- 86 Fourtrax 350

Congrats TechDog. Ya fixed it. Too bad your parts source won't take back the wrong part. If their source material is wrong, it sure seems they should. Still if they're a Honda dealer, they should be able to figure it out unless they're complete incompetents.

That very well may be. But, they had my money, so I figured I should order it from them to get the exchange. It wasn't until they got the old part back that they started talking about Honda not taking electronic components back. I'm working with a manager right now. It looks like she's going to jump through some hoops to make it right.

Thanks again. Sure is good to ride again.

No returns on electrical parts is pretty much the industry standard. However, I think most dealers would return the part if it was the wrong one and it's their mistake.

Hey TechDog I was curious if you changed the part yourself and if you can give in instructions on how you did so I can do it myself and how hard it was.
