Foreman S power

Thanks for the replies. One thing that might hinder those results is that the 01 was fulltime 4x4 (right?). I also wonder if things haven't been improved on since then. I was thinking down the road that I might pick up one of those Highlifer performance kits (Supertrapp IDSX pipe, jet kit, and K&N filter). Has anyone done this and been satisfied with the results?

my certificate of origin for a foreman ES states 23.9 HP. It's a 2004 model. I bet the same for the S mdel.

Very interesting. This raises more questions than it answers.
Both sides have built in conflicts of interest....highlifter would want it to look as enimic, as possible before, the components are installed. And the state/insurance industry would wanr to inflate those numbers as high as possible, because it generates more income. Taxes and rates are based on horsepower in some states.
Which is correct? 100% difference is alot.

Thru the magic of gearing, it will feel powerful,.....even a 8 horse lawn tractor will pull my 4000 lb chevy truck.
