Best bang for the money is the elkas without rezzies, you could get them in regular or SSD for about $520.
I know everyone is going to recommend Works this and that but after owning them for about a year and them getting some better shocks, I can not, in all honesty recommend them over stock, not enough difference to justify the $330 + price tag.
If you are looking for real performance on a budget, look up TCS ZPS front shocks ($699) and have the stock rear rebuilt and converted to ZPS for about $300.
If you want to go all out around $1900, check out Elka SSD with rezzies or PEP ZPS front and back.
