my friend wants to exchange his CDI box on his 300ex with my other friends 300 4x4 because he thinks his is to restricted. I told him that the other one wouldn't be nearly as high as rpm's and that he might mess something up. but really I have no idea. What are your guys's thoughts?

 

I wouldn't do it, CDI boxes cost $200.00+ if one got blown out on the exchange it'd be a costly lesson.

 

CDI box cost 35 from K&K ATV.

For 90 From TC Racing he can get his modified 1,500 plus RPM

and for 190 he can get a whole new CDI
