Measuring the wheels only gives you a place to start the calibration. You'll need to adjust it from there after checking it against a measured distance. When I measured my tires I came up with 181 mm, but after checking it that didnt give the correct distance so I tried different settings until I finally ended up with 195 mm giving the correct calibration.

I just got everything mounted I just got to wait for the epoxy glue to dry!I had to splice into the wire and extend it,I hope nothing happens to it.I hope I don't have trouble calibrating it too.

I got my Cateye Enduro II today. Seems like a very nice unit. The computer is very small, about 1"x1.5". The wire between the computer bracket and sensor was too short. We cut it in half, and spliced 2' of speaker wire onto it, and covered the connections with electrical tape. You may have to try different combonations of wires. My first combo didn't work, but the second one did. I'm not sure if the electrical tape will be durable enough, but we'll see. I will keep you posted. Tomorrow I plan to mount it on my quad. I want to mount the sensor on the plastic brake cover and the magnet on the hub. I'll take pictures and post them on my web site.

I have been trying to put a speedometer on my quad but I don't think it will work....can you guys help?...can I use a stronger magnet so the sensor can pick up the reading further away?

And where do you think I should mount it?...on the back sprocket????
