I have a friend who has a fmf megamax on his rancher and it sounds good and gives it more torque. So im not sure which to go with now i always though about getting a fmf megamax but now im thinkin diiferent. So does the hmf give and power at all or juss sound good?

the megamax is a really restrictive pipe. i woudln't get one of those unless you could find one for under $50. i would expect NO power gains. i removed my stock baffle and jetted one size up on my 400ex and my buddy had a megamax and went one size up on his jet. my bike was always quicker. also, i dont consider that sound to be good when comparing it to hmf, sparks, etc. just don't expect a huge gain on a utility quad. the extra noise and vibration will make you feel as if you have more power but in reality you may not. however, this pipe did help out a little bit. he can periodically hit the stock rev limiter when maxed out on flat ground.
