I was wanting to get more power out of my engine and I was wanting to know whether I should get a Bigbore kit or rebuild the hole engine with cams, pistons,rings and all that good stuff.

big bore isnt really gonna do much without all the other stuff. Go with the other stuff.

 

Bire bore are time bombs. I had a TC 405 engine it ran great for a while till the pistion broke. I would go with a different cam and larger valves and a higher compression pistion. You could always put a 350X engine in the quad

 

I can get you a high compression piston for a good deal if you want one. Email me jeremypreston450@hotmail.com Do that with a good cam and some porting and it will run much stronger.

I don't think that the 300 is a cost effective build unless you have access to cheap parts. You would need different carb, intake boot, cam, rocker, piston, an additional oil cooler. You do all this and bore it out. Now it revs higher and gets alot hotter. Not good. My stock 300 runs very hot; I can't imagine how hot a built machine would be after riding a few hours.
