Default 250ex submerged

Kids took the four wheelers out tonight, tried to cross a drainage ditch that was too deep. They got the ’03 250ex submerged up to the seat. We got it pulled out, drained the oil, carb, air box and gearbox. Cleaned the plug…..finally got it to turn over but it will still not start. Any suggestions?

Did you stand it up on end to get the water out of the exhaust?

Keep changing the oil until it's not cloudy. Maybe 3 times.

Coyotechaser, yes I did stand it up on end and drain the exhaust. I was also planning on changing the oil a few times. The gas I drained from the carb, but since you mentioned it, I may go ahead and drain the tank. Thanks!
