Default 450R falling short?

Now now bad250R, don't say you will race "any of us". Haha. Just playin. I would really hope this thread would turn into....."ok what is the future of the 450R" Instead all of you are making silly posts. If you guys cannot keep it to, "this is what I don't like, or this is what I do like", then just leave this thread please. I am one that loves my 450R and can't wait to ride it in 2 days. I want to learn more about this bike, the good and the bad, I want to hear from you that have jumped 40ft table tops, because I am married with 2 kids and am scared! I don't want to hear from those that say they showed up to a race and whooped all 15 250r's and all 25 YFZ's. But of course, you have free speech so go ahead and keep the BS coming. All I have to say is that I am gonna put that A$$ whoopin on that KX250 that nipped me in the "back field" drags a month ago, cause I have done this, this and this.......

Oh and KGB......have you ever even seen my bike? I can guarantee you it is nicer than your friends because I just completely rebuilt it - I'm talking bushings, bearings, tie rods, a arms, powdercoat, 3 new shocks, a new swing arm , a new axle and on and on and on. My Duncan racing motor was dynoed last week at 51hp---I'll personally email you the numbers if you'd like (you didn't think I left it stock did you?!). So for you to say I am dreaming for a 450R is laughable. And FASTLANE, why am I even arguing with you........you ride a 300EX! I'll tell ya what when you save up enough of your lunch money and actually buy a mans quad like the 450R then you can talk with the big boys - but untill then why don't you stick to the lil' kiddie threads, OK? Other than SPEEDBUMP all of you make me laugh! I can't wait till I get off of work to come home and read these posts. I'll race any of you on my 250R anytime!
Dude, stfu, who gives a crap if fastlane rides a 300ex? 300ex's are built to last and be very good wheelie machines. All you are on here to do is be a baby about things and talk down on other people, so just leave, we'll all be happier with one less guy with a "big" ego. I own a 300ex and a 450r so what does that make me? kiddie threads???? YOU need to visit the kiddie threads cause your attitude is no worse than a 9 year old girl.

Red400EXRod,

I can tell you know a good bit about sportquads based on your arsenal, but there is no way in hell that a piped and jetted 450R with a Uni filter will take on a built YFZ.

Im a guy that backs down when i get pushed? you have absolutly NO IDEA who i am or what im like, you base that BS from reading a post, which i have no idea how you even do base that. Who am i to tell you what to do? well, if all you came here to do is argue and start crap, then you DO NEED TO LEAVE. I read your posts carefully and all you do is base your opinions on what you hear.

I have relayed what I have "heard" front Dirtwheels, ATV Action, Sport ATV, and professional racers opinions. I'd rather listen to them than some amateur who is probably aware of its flaws but is just trying to save face. I'm gonna say this for the last time becasue most of you don't seem to get it.......The 450R is a great high-performance quad and an all around bike. However, from going to actual races and events I can say with confidence the YFZ dominates. And not just because it has been around longer than the 450R. I have seen 450R's with just as much mods as YFZ's do good at the races but not take a comanding lead like I have seen YFZ's. I'm a die-hard 2-stroke fan but even I will admit the 4 strokes are taking over. Why can't you admit the 450R is not as competition ready FROM THE FACTORY as the YFZ?

GO TO THE THREAD "WHATS UP WITH FARR"!!!!!! You may learn something.

1bad250r, i'm not trying to bad-mouth you, so don't take this the wrong way. there's no way that u can say that u can't beleive that honda made the 450R swingarm an inch shorter than the 250R swing arm, because the 450r doesn't use a 250r's frame, so the length of the swingarm doesn't affect it's wheeling problem. if you look at the spot that the engine is mounted it, u'll notice that the engine is mounted pretty far back in the frame. from riding the quad, i can honestly say that i only had an issue with the front comin up when i rode it up and down the street, and i put Razr tires on back. when i went to put it on my lift, i noticed that you have to put the lift directly under the engine, otherwise the front end will raise up, and the back will stay planted. personally, i love the quad. a smaller counter shaft sprocket is about the only thing i'm lookin at modifying, as far as performance goes. i dont' have a need to modify ne thing else.

Man o man some people really get affended when they think their quads integrity is getting questioned. I thought that prior to buying a quad that is EXACTLY what we were supposed to do, isn't that how we learn about their strenghths and weaknesses? All 1BAD did was make a simple statement, in fact he says he hasnt even ridden one(450r). IMO it was stated so that he could get more info.

Ok,ok, I didnt just beat the 250r's and yfz's. I LEFT EM BLOODY, AND CRYIN FOR THEIR MOMMAS
