Default trail quad

Im getting a 04 400ex tommorow. Im going to be riding mostly trails, but i will also be hillclimbing and occasionaly jump. I wanted to know what are the best mods to do to get the most power out of the stock motor and best mods to get for my type of riding. please help

ive rode mine a little on the trails around here and stock works pretty dang good... id say leave it stock for a while then maybe a k&n w/ outerwear or somethin like that... i love mine... perfect for my trails...

get a new pipe (white bros, fmf, big gun are all good brands) and a new intake would help (k&n or uni) and rejet.

I have a Pro Circuit T4 s/o, White Powerfilter, Hotcams Stage 1, and a bunch of jets all just waiting to be installed. I would have it modded by now but me truck broke down so its first things first. Even stock, these things will move IMO.

Btw, does anyone know what kind of power gains I can expect with these mods? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
