I just purchased a 2004 honda rancher.I need to get insurance on this thing.Do they put it on your homeowners policy or how do they insure them. also what does it usually cost?

I have State Farm, same as my auto ins. Full coverage with $250 ded runs me $38 for 6 months.

 

Check out Progressive Insurance. They have a lot of experience with bikes and quads. Full coverage for my quads is $65.00 per year with $100.00 deductible. Witrh buying a new Honda you will probably be enrolled free of charge in the HRCA (honda riders club of america) You may also get a discount on your insurance for being a member. insurance on my 300ex (state farm)is only $50 a year and yes im sure thats for a year.

That's when you want insurance. If someone steals it and you don't have insurance, you still have to pay for it.
