Hi, I had to take the carb out of my 200s to clean it and when I put it back in and started the bike it sounded like it was in full throttle. I dont want to start it to often to see if its gettin any better because Im afraid Il blow the pistons out of her. Can any on give me a little help on what I should do to fix this problem.

 

make sure the needle is in the right spot and isn't loose or in the wrong spot, also check to make sure all jets are tightend enough to stay in but not over tightend

 

and check your idle screw thing

 

The only way itll rev, is if the slide is staying up. You can have as much gas go in as you want, but it wont rev with out air....the slide is being held open. Either the cable is binding, or the slide was put in backwards, or is hung up on the key in the bore.

yea the slides in backwards i did the same thing on my 200
