Has any one herd about Tusk clutch kits?
#1
I have a honda 440ex, it has just about every single aftermarket part on it to make more power. Only thing is that I go through clutches like crazy! I found this clutch made my Tusk on Rocky Mountain ATV's web page, it is only 30 bucks! Is this worth it? Or will it need to be replaced next race? Or will I even finish the race? Any help will be great! Thanks!

Hmm...
I know I am not in the racing class with my Foreman, but your Larger Gas tank is interesting me much !!
Do you know if there are models for other quads (utility quads) ..
Thanks . . .
Sorry, I can't help you with your question . . .

Loster666 I have both, an over sized oil tank and an over sized fuel tank. I am sure that IMS makes something for utilty quads. You can give them a call at (800) 237-9906 or visit them on the web at www.imsproducts.com. As for Clarke, I am not to sure. I feel that Clarke makes a better product, you can get a hold of Clarke Manufacturing at www.clarkemfg.com or by phone at (503)829-2156. Hope to see you out on the trails enjoying a longer ride

they kick ***. I would highly recommend one. I have a friend who has one on his piped shee and it holds up to alot of abuse. I would recommed getting the heavy duty springs too. they are only 5 bucks extra.

Rocky Mountain wanted to have their own line of atv products. So they have companies produce products for them and they put them under the name TUSK. I'm not sure how Tusk products compare to other name brands.

Yeah, I went ahead and got the tusk clutch, I didn't get the springs cause I already have heavy duty springs. I have been burning up a clutch at the rate of about 1 every 3 or 4 months. I have been using the barnett clutches, they seemed to last the longest. I am really very hard on them. We'll have to see how well this thing holds up...

The plates perform flawlessly. They have good wear. But the springs went rather quick in my buddies EX. After getting a set of barnett springs, his are still going strong.
