Clutch Question
#1
We have a trx350FE it started to miss shift, when I would push the shifter button it would some times shift and other times it would just make a clicking sound and not change gears. I adjusted the clutch 1/4 turn and then it worked just like it was new, shfted every time. 100km later it started miss shifting again i adjusted the clutch and it works fine now. Is this normal to have to adjust the clutch this much? We have around 2800km on it. It has good oil in it, "AMSOIL 4-stroke" it was just changed a little while ago. How will i know when I will need to replace the clutch disks?
Thanks, Steve

No it is not normal to have to adjust the clutch every 100KM. Many people put thousands of miles on without having to adjust the clutch at all. You will need clutch plates when you start to notice it slipping. BTW, it's a known issue with Honda that certain types of synthetic oil is NOT compatible with their clutch plate material. You may want to try the recommended oil.
