300EX axle question?

Default 300EX axle question?
Do the 300 ex and the 400 ex have the same rear axle and carrier assy. I wan't to know because I wan't to keep an eye out for a used one as a spair.

Default 300EX axle question?
I just check the part numbers for a 300ex and a 400ex and they show to be different.

Thanks! I wonder what is different? They both have the same axle carrier and bearings don't they?
