Where does the hose go on the 250R motor?

Crankcase breather. I highly reccomend putting a piece of hose on there, the possibility exists that water, debris, so on can get into the crankcase. It acutally provides a vent for the transmission/clutch side of the motor. Cut a piece of hose long enough to come out near the skid plate between the swing-arm pivot and the rear of the motor.

Thanks.
I was hoping that it was just a breather hose. but I will put a hose on it so nothing can get in.
It is just a pain. I took the motor out a few months ago ad now I am trying to get everything back together. Plus it doesn't help that when I brought the quad, some of the motor was apart.
I have the service manual, but I didn't check it yet. Plus I was not sure if it was labeled.
Boy, I hope this thing starts!

LASHER-
Make sure you route the hose up near the gas tank or somewhere, then go back down. If yoy ever get into deep water or mud, there is a chance of sucking in some water or dirt. Trust me, when I rebuilt my crank case bearings this spring, I found about a cup of dirt in my tranny! Now I route the hose strait up in front of the shock, under the gas tank to the front. Also, you can get a small filter to put on the hose. I think K&N makes one or just a inline fuel filter will work.
