i have a 02 400ex and am wondering if there is a way to get a smoother ride w/o adjusting or buying new suspension.... i'm 14 146LBS. 5'7/8 and i let my friends dad ride it and he has been riding for 10+ years, but also stands 6'0 210LBS. he says that it could be a smoother ride and i agree *but me being a kid not careing* he suggested new handlebars? does any one agree or have any more advice?

 

That's the first I've heard of a 400EX not having a smooth ride. Mine is awesome - that's why I got it.

 

Check your tires for 4# pressure all the way around. No more, no less.
You can't get any smoother than a 400ex.
