I would try adjusting your jetting, The air mixture screw, as well as the pilot are both responsiable for idleing.

First of all you need to adjust the air screw out to make it idle faster. Where is your needle clip at? And what is the main jet and pilot jet?

Acually your wrong, no biggie thow... On the PWK38mm carbs when you turn it in it will make it rev up more because it moves the slid UP. Next time you have a 38PWK apart take a look at it and you will see...I dont mean to be mean, but I was just correcting you....

Anyways play with your pilot jet and air screw some.

Actually he's right, the airscrew is different than the idle adjustment screw. Backing the airscrew out will allow more air in but if the pilot jet is too large it still won't be enough to idle right so lean the pilot out.....
