Default 2004 Rancher 350es Headlight Mod...

Hey All...

I was just working on my neighbor's Polaris 500 Sportsman...

I did the 3-light modification so that the handlebar beam, and the bumper lights come on at the same time when the highbeam is selected.

Now I would like to do something similar on my Rancher...but, as you may know...the 2k4 Rancher 350es does not have a headlight on the bars.

I looked thru a few websites and found an aftermarket solution but from the looks of the unit...it's not all that much in terms of appearance.

My question is this:

Does one of the other Honda utility models have a guage shroud that will work on on the Rancher?

I will try to make it to dealer one day this week to check for myself...but would like to know if any of you had any ideas. Any help you can offer would be appreciated. I know there has to be a way to put on an OEM Honda unit.

I wonder if you just couldn't bolt up a headlight/gauge unit from a Foreman ES. You may have to fabricate a mounting bracket for it, but I bet it would work...
