400ex speedometer

Default 400ex speedometer

I am going to order a speedometer tonight and i was wondering if the one off of rockymountainatv.com for the 2003 400ex is any good, i think so from what i have heard but i dont see how it stays on the four wheeler, it doesnt look like it bolts on and i dont get it, does ne one know, its the one that says speedometer/computer

Default 400ex speedometer

If it is the Trail tech it is a good unit. They come with mounting hardware to put it pretty much anywhere. I opted for the dash board they sell for it. It bolts the the bar clamps it is billet and looks nice. Mine has stayed pretty accurate except for about a week it was acting funny i hit 118 MPH that week but then the speed problem went away I thing there was something on the magnet or something. The wire is easy to run just pull one of the bolts that hold on the hub and replace with the magnet, or use the sticky magnet they supply. Route the cables up with the brake lines. I think the Billet dash for it is a good deal because it holds it alot better than sticking it in the plastic or just clamping on the bars.
