Yep, the lady is an idjit. If my parents didn't make me wear a helmet when I was young I would not have. I also wouldn't be here right now and that's a fact. I thank my parents for watching out for me when I needed it. I'm doing the same now for my kids because I'd like very much for them to out live me.

I did'nt wear a helmet once and wound up with a black eye and almost busted my cheek bone.
What did I learn? Never stand up while plowing and always know where the cub line is!!!
Other than that you will never catch me without my helmet especially when riding on gravel with friends you never know when that one small rock will be kicked up and smack you in the forehead.

they didn't make all those warning labels to see if they could spell all the words, helmets work. wrecked a street bike once wacked my head didn't even know i hit, until someone said hey your helmets is banged up. also it's when you don't plan a accident that they happen. and riding on the strr\eet isn't highly recommended.

I don't think there should be any laws requiring helmets - thats how we rid the world of stupid people so they won't breed and raise more stupid people. With that said the exception is kids - they are not old enough to make those decisions for themselves and if found riding without a helmet the parents should be held responsible the same as if they are drunk driving with kids in the car - child endangerrment - plain and simple.

Geeeeeez, some people just shouldn't breed. If those ignorant people stopped breeding, might get rid of some of them. LOL. I've seen more than my share of ignorant people, most of them dead with their heads bashed in, or exploded. Yuck. Including two kids. I just don't understand why some parents are so stupid and don't think of their kids safety. Some talk about getting in fights with stupid adults. Stupid adults are stupid adults, not much you can do about them. But I'd fight any adult being stupid with there kids and putting their life in jeopardy.

Get this, true story, cause I witnessed it Memorial Weekend at Sand Lake Oregon. Thought my wife was going to go clobber the guy. I know she would have if one of the Rangers wasn't following the guy to pull him over.

There was a guy buzzing along on his quad with an infant. He had the infant strapped in one of those baby carriers that fits on your chest. What the he!! is that all about. He shoulda got a good clubbing, but I'm sure he at least got a hefty ticket.

Now my brother was pretty ingenuis (spelling). He has adapted one of those buggies that you can tow behind bicycles, to fit on his quad. It has a good breakaway system on it should the quad roll over or something.. That is funnier than heck.

BUT, he does not go fast whatsoever, does not go on trails and stuff, or anything. Just for towing her around like back and forth to the bathrooms and short rides around the campgrounds. She does where her helmet and is strapped in very securely. He does not do anyting stupid and is very careful. Even being my niece, I can deal with that.
