REDESIGNED 450R?
#11
maybe for 2006, but not this year.It doesnt really need a make-over like everyone thinks, the yamadog is just a little faster, and better, and a better rider could make up for that. You heard it from a yamaha rider himself, the honda is also a great machine.
the thing i want to know is this-will the discontinue the 400ex?

I sincerely doubt Honda will change the 450R other than color for a while. Don't expect them to do with the 450R like what they did with the 250R and make tons of changes every year. Honda wants to get back into quad racing like they dominated in the 80's but they are taking careful steps.

According to the article that Z250 linked, there may still be updates but they wont say until September. Smoker, just what are u smokin/ They might make it fast this time? WTF. In stock form this quad will easily hand all other quads their a**es, with the exception of the YFZ450, and theyre pretty even with equally skilled riders. My stock 450r will take piped Banshees and hang with some 310r's. Pretty good for a stock quad. Sure it wont hang with your 500 and maybe not with your R's but my power delivery is so smooth and there is next to no vibration, I'll take it anyday over the old school quads. Love the R's of old but the new R's are just as sweet

I think what he means by mixing is like a 50:50 race gas/pump gas ratio.
Either way, NO you don't have to mix gas on either machine.
I also like the new black.....................when it's new at least!
