Hey I was at haspin last weekend too, come to think of it, It mighta be you I saw- a couple guys stopped in the big "parking lot" on a 450r and a yzf450. Dont let all the crap bother you, I've been there before, it does get old in a hurry. No matter who you beat these guys will ALWAYS pull this dumb crap. Its gotta be a way of making up for other shortcomings I guess.



I wonder do you "my quads faster than yours" guys ever do anything but dragrace? I bet half of the guys like that are so lame at climbing hills and such that they'd pee themselves following the rest of us around.

The whole thing about dragracing is kind of irrelevant because when your sitting on a 350 pound machine rider weight has EVERYTHING to do with the game. i mean given you know how to shift and what not. I believe you could havea fully modded animal of a yfz and and a pretty regular 400ex drag and ya know what if some150 pound lean as hell guy is on the 400 hes probably going to spank my super fast 450 because he weighs 80 pounds less than me.

 

ive raced a 450R and i ate it up .. i also got an 03 raptor

Sorry, I REALLY did not want to get into this with YFZblu, but the YFZ only has 1 more hp stock, and that is only on the top, the R beats it everywhere else! Guess what, it is impossible to call it a fact that the YFZ responds better to mods, if you have a dyno with a piped, jetted, cammed, FCRed, filtered, high compression 450r vs a piped, jetted, cammed, filtered YFZ please show us. My point is, the 450R has more potential with upgrades without boring over than the YFZ due to it being detuned. The 450R can be outfitted with a FCR (already on YFZ) and higher compression (so it will be equal to the YFZ) and it will simply kick the YFZ's @ss. And PLEASE don't say the YFZ is better stock for stock, that is total BULLSHlT

 

would this be a bad time to say i cant decide whether to get a 450r or yfz ?
hehe its true though its hard to find somewhere thats not down on honda these days because the great yfz has arrived.
its so hard to decise though everyone says the yfz is the best thing since sliced bread but then again honda does stuff like place the shock rezzies right behind the shocks to help prevent damage or use separate oils for tranny and motor. the yfz has estart oh damn now im all confused again.

Dude I love my new 450R its soo fast. you should start drag racing people at the dunes for money. I won 200 bucks off my buddy because he thought his 440 ex was fast

I beat a yfz when my Z was still stock, and the yfz rider is ten times better than me. He wanted to race again of course and I said only if we race in reverse. I wonder why he declined? I mean if yfz is just the shizzit, why won't he race me in reverse? MY point to this you ask? Every quad has its advantages and disadvantages, but in the end, my dad can beat up your dad.

If honda's are accord quads? Does that make Yamahas motorized pianos?
