you can take off your air box lid, and put in a new high flow filter. (make sure you rejet) and if you have the money you could buy a new exhaust system

How do you know were your jetting needs to be put at with just the air box mod? I'm starting to look at pipes but will probably be a month or so before i by one.

with an airbox mod with a new filter you will probobly go up 1 size jet maybe, but keep in mind that if your increasing your air comming in, it might not work that well unless you have an exhaust pipe to get it out. but you will probobly still see some benifits. also what reconranger said. a gearing chance would help, i know the 450rs are geared a little high

Cheapest solution is to change your gearing, although this is a give and take situation. To increase bottom end performance you will loose some top end speed but that's usually not an issue since not very often you are tapped out unless you play in the sand.
