everyone has good ideas on this so far.....by $.02 is to upgrade your front end with factroy 86 TRX250R components, they bolt up and you get better handling. Use your stock shocks - the R stockers are most likely shot......you can use R shocks or yours in the future. THis will widen the front, so a longer sxle out back will keep the foot prints the same.
