has anyone adjusted there 300ex stock suspension. if so, did u make the preload tighter or softer. also how much do u weigh. i was just wondering cause i really dont go off any jumps bigger than 4 feet, i mostly ride trails. so bottoming out is not a concern, i was thinking maybe i could use a little extra travel thats unused. should i make it looser?

 

If you dont hit jumps, then make it looser. If you wanna hit jumps, then just tighten it back up, it only takes a few seconds.

 

thanks. 2 more questions. if i make it looser, than will my handling be worse (due to it wobling back and forth more) and if i adjust my front suspention must i do the same to the rear? oh yea 1 more question. how do u adjust them. do u need a certain tool to fit in. thanks for the help

I was wondering the same thing. I hit abunch of jumps this weekend and I bottomed out on one I should probably adjust mine too!
