450r VS. 440ex
#1
My buddy has a 400 ex that he got bored out to a 440, it was done professionaly by a guy named dave marty. his 440 has everything imaginable done to the motor and his bike looks pretty good too. I have a 450r that has a stage 1 LRD power up kit. we have about the same experience. I weigh 160 lbs. and he weighs 185 pounds. well anyway he says his 440 is faster than my 450 and when he gets it broken in he wants to drag race me. he thinks his 440 is so fast he bet me 200$ to whoever wins this dragrace.

not knowing the riders it's hard to say, but go 2 out of 3 so you know whats up, and no bad shifts cost you some money.

Hey YFZ, it depends on what is done to the EX. If it's just 89mm (435cc) with the stk cam and no porting you'll smoke him. If it's got a descent exhaust, stgII Hotcam or larger and some good porting your in trouble.
One of our 426cc EX with our porting, cam and exhaust (44rwhp on pump gas 11:1) was beating the TRX450's with various exhaust pretty bad last weekend at the drags. He was also beating the YFZ's. He won the 400-500cc mod class and finished second in the 500-600cc mod to an 400 Scrambler with and HPD power-Max full race engine (80hp) full race 400 two stroke can't run in the 400-500 class
