What quad can beat a TRX450R in a straight drag on dirt for say... 300ft. with equal riders, size, ability, etc.

From what I've seen, maybe a DS. At the dunes, there was a 450r running tight with modded banshees. There was a DS out there, wether or not it was stock, it was pretty quick.

 

Let me rephrase: a DS may run with a 450r. That 450r on the dunes was eatin' just about everything on the dunes.

 

For a straightline drag race, I thought that was where the big duners would get a 450. I would have thought a raptor, DS, and Banshee would be able to beat it in a straight line. All stock. But granted I don't know jack about sport quads, so thats what I get for thinking.

all stock the big machine and the yamaha. mod the honda and things start to change.

 

I got beat by a dz on topend before. I was beating him up until the top of 5th gear, then he slowly started to catch me and passed me.

A stock Raptor beating a 450R? Lets see some proof.

 

Theres is no way my old DS would beat my new 450r stock for stock. My DS was pretty much equal with a raptor so i would think it would take that too. I never raced a YFZ so i dont know about that. I dont know where people are getting there info, given i had both and raced both...

*******Stock speed on my DS was 77, stock on my 450r was 75 on the same GPS.. meaning it would take a long race for it to catch up with my 450r.
