They also have the dirt wheels pipe shoot out that shows ct putting out 35.3, but they were running either too small of a jet if it was a DJ, or too large of a jet if it was a mikuni. Either way, an average of around 36 is still same as stock 450r. Not bad for a 400.

You take 100 people who own Polaris'. i betcha i can count on my hand on how many say they are great atv's. I got many many buddies that have owned Polaris' and they will tell you they run great when they run but they hardly ever run. I have heard they are nothing but junk. You might slip up and get one that might not be junk but chances are your screwed when you drive it off the lot.
450r or Pred? Can you say Honda or Polaris? Think about it. Honda holds its value like crazy, because they make some of the best quads out there. I would go with anything but Polaris, just my 2 cents.

well thats cool im not trying to dog you ,i think ct makes an exelent pipe, one of the best. but the 8.5 mark is only for a brief moment in your rpm 's and just before having to shift according to thier dyno. you must also remeber that these guys are professional tuners and know how to squeze motors for power. the average tuner would not even know from the lack of having a dyno. i had my 450 put on the dyno that rocket had at sand mntn. and it ran on its second 45.7 hp. it ran 44.8 on the first run, witch is the way i set it up according to seat of the pants dyno runsthey said they got almost two extra horse when they were done but when i took it out to run on the mntn. i ran like crap . just because it produced on the dyno did'nt mean it was real usable power ,and the hp gain they got was only for a brief second at the very top of my rpm range. ill stick to real usable power , dirtwheels saw lower numbers because the were'nt squezing for hp only useing the dyno as a comparison to other pipes. they still go for seat of the pants aswell . like i said the ct is an exelent pipe one of the best.you made a good choice.

Last night, some friends and I went out, one had a stock rappy, the other a yfz w/sparks pipe. The rappy beat the yfz 3 times on river rock. I then raced the rappy, and I was able to stay with him till 5th. It's gotta be the shoes! Once we got on pavement, well, let's just say I'm glad there isn't any dust kicking up off blacktop. LOL But without the pipe I wouldn't have been able to turn those 22" rockslingers I call tires.
