Does anyone know the top speed of a stock Honda Recon?

 

My son has a 2000 stock recon . My rancher does between 45 and 50. he stays with me. I'd say it does 45 easy.

 

50 is tops

 

Around 46 mph.

 

ok,can someone narrow it down?So it for sure does 45?Maybe 50?

A 4x2 Racher is faster than a Recon. My 4x4 Rancher takes off about the same as the Recon but it has a little more top end. The Recon reaches its top end faster than the Rancher 4x4. The Rancher will get up to 47-48 mph fairly quickly but it takes a little while to get those last few mph out of it.

 

ok now for the real answers from somebody who owns both...the rancher TE will kill the recon in a drag race, and mine tops out around 53, although tops on ranchers is anywhere between 49-53...the recon will not go fifty, not even too much higher than 45...46 maybe, 50 no way...and yes, i do take great care of both machines and nothing is wrong with either....later
