wouldn't it be great to see bombardier shock the atv world and come out with a 250cc two stroke racer with a Rotax SDI, powervalve, 45 horsepower at the wheels from the factory, shocks with rezzies all around, and manage to keep the weight down to 330 lbs dry. There is definetly a market for such a quad especially after 2006. There are still quite a few two stroke diehards out there.[/quote]
Dang straight that would be awesome! There are many MANY 2 stroke fans still out here.... Rotax will be the leader in keeping the 2 strokes alive... the rest of the sled market will follow or get left behind (Yamaha)
4 strokes in sleds make no sense... at least the deep pow pow mtn sleds... there is NO way to keep the weight down and the HP up even with all the new technology.
Not to mention... guy's.. think about it for a minute. This is all marketing genious. Hype up the thumper market for a few years and squeeze every penny you can get out of newbies in the sport... then when the technology becomes affordable enough (EFI/DPI) to re-develop the 2 stroke world, with MODERN day advances, higher HP output per cc, and 1/3 the weight... everyone will be scrambling to buy the 'latest and greatest'... hmmm, I think I'll wait and not support the thumper revolution!
If I'm wrong, Guess I'll still be polluting the air with my dirty/filthy running 2 smoke antique.

I'll send an email to bombardier. It is up to rotax to keep the two strokes alive. Bombardier would be stupid not to take advantage of the fact that rotax supplies their engines and makes a clean burning two stroke. I'm all for it. The modern two stroke revolution has been born.
