Default trx250r Single Rear Wheel Conversion Kit

I remember seeing an advertisement to make my wheeler road legal by changing the rear axle to a single wheel, (similar to a road bike). Does anyone know anything about this?

If so, what would the requirements be to ride this on the road? I'm losing my car, and I don't have enough money to spend on another one. Would the insurance price make the mod not worth it? Any links/info/opinion would help.

Drop the idea. Your are not going to pass inspection in most states with a two stroke and a 250r engine will not last too long at constant hiway speeds. Lets not even bring up the fact that the singel wheel kit, magneto mods required to run the lights and lighting/turnsignal kit is going to cost you over $2000. You could get a used car for that.
