Correct, I won't overbuild unless I think it's really needed. If you look closer you'll see:
1) it's mounted on the largest tube of the bumper.
2) The plate is "behind" the tube, so on a hard pull the 1.5" angle is pulling on the tube, not much on the bolts.
3) the bumper itself only has 6 mounting points anyway.
4) being small it won't catch a lot of mud and crap.
It's on my to do list to add larger bolts. But if I get really stuck I'll get more pulling points...IE more than one winch and more than 1 ATV.
Good Luck,
Rob

eh we don't what were talking about either, we just fancy words to make us look smart,
anyway rob i guess im use to winching trucks out of mud that get buried, u needed very good mounting points or you are ripping your winch off the truck or bending most of the front frame, guess it doesn't get as bad as that

I understand that. Where I ride at our weekend place we have to many tractors and/or dozers if the going gets to rough. no need to tear up a nice truck when I can get a tractor with a front loader and get somebody (or myself) out. Even better with a back hoe. You really can't get a backhoe stuck.
