I have a stock 2004 400EX and a K&N airfilter in box until I get my slip-on exhaust. I've narrowed it down to those two and which ever one I get I'm gonna put on a quiet core. These are the rules,

1.Spark arrester
2.Quiet (stuck-up neighbors)
3.slip-on don't want a full
4.Want all around power
5.Nice sound

hey man wassup i run a white brothers e-series and it sounds lile what your looking for. but between th t-4 and hmf id say the t-4 for quiteness. the hmf is loud and my buddy runs a t-r on his raptor and it sounds good also. so for what your looking for id go with the t-4 or e-series

 

I am an HMF fanatic so of course I suggest it. You can get it with the quiet core or look at the new Q Series. I got excellent power from mine.

I bought 2 at ATV-Direct - they actually stock them for immediate shipment. If they don't list the one you want on the web site - call tehm - mine was not listed.
