That's a new one on me, having used Motion Pro's
for quite a few years and a few major get-offs as well. If it is truly a factory defect rather than due to an impact, I would certainly contact Motion Pro, (not the dealer) & see what they have to say. If done in a courteous way they may just replace the housing or at least offer to sell you another housing at a reduced price. Motion Pro is more or less the accepted standard of twist throttles, with the possible exception of Magura, so I'd not be too hasty in discarding it until you talked to the factory.

Hey, that's great! I was pretty sure they would do something for you.
Now that they have been so quick to stand behind their product, it might be a nice gesture to go back to your original post and use the edit button to modify your opinion of them in your title

Yea i bought a motion pro twist throttle and it was getting stuck alot(cruise control )but anyway it went from getting stuck alot to not working at all! so i took it off and looked and the tube that slides over the handlebars was cracked and one of the little prongs that hold the cable in snapped off. I really didnt like it anyway b/c i just got too used to my twist and couldn't land jumps w/out popping a wheelie.

I've got the Motion Pro Gunner Gaser and have had nothing but perfect operation. I put a Motion Pro CR on my son's quad and broke the housing when I over tightened it. After replacing the housing it worked perfectly as well. During installation you may want to sand off some of the plastic flashing that remains from the molding process on the twist sleeve. Also, sand the handle bar under the twist unit baby-butt smooth, maybe taking off a little paint for clearance.
