OK, well in that case, I'll PM you something to try. I won't post it on here, for the rare case somebody might try to use it to steal one .
I'm honeslty not sure if it will work with yours, but I know some quads it does work on.

Post and let me know if it worked.

Good Luck

You may aslo be able to take it to a dealer and they may be able to pull a number and order you a new key, not sure though. Let me know if the idea I pm'd you about worked or not.

Good Luck

Cut all 4 wires to the ignition and it will fire up. Worked on my 83 big red. The only downside is that the light won't work, You have to fiddle with the wires to figure that out. 2 wires ground it out (key off, possibly black, and green connected together) and the other 2 wires work the lights/electronics (key on).

hey i did what you said cut all four wires i can only get it to fire up by kick starting it but the starter will not turn over at all you have any ideas why this is?? i have found three fuses in total is their more?
found two right under the headlight and one under the left side of the seat it was in a black box sort of speak and it was really flat i replaced all three fuses but like i said it will not turn over with the starter any help you may have would be great thanks doug

Did you hook the 2 wires up that I mentioned or are none of them hooked up? In order for the electric start to work on my big red, I had to have 2 wires hooked up (they controlled the lights and starter). I can't remember the colour of the 2, but I know for sure that I had the black, and dark green hooked together to kill the bike, so I would assume it is the other 2 you need to hook up.
