Need some help here. I want to replace my rear tires on my 84 Honda 200s ATC. The size of the tire is as followed. 22x 12.5-8. I can not find this size anywhere. I think they are the original tires. My question is can i put a different size on with out getting a different rim such as 22x12.00-8 or 22x13.00-8? For the future....further on down the forums there is an ATC forum....might wanna try that out.

As for those sizes, the first number (22) is how tall the tire is. The 2nd number (12.5) is how wide the tire is. The 3rd number (8) is the diameter of the rim that the tire fits on. That is the most important one, you cannot get any tire other than 8". You can play with the height a little (depending on how much clearance you have in your fenders) and you can also go a little wider or narrower for the width too. Both the tire sizes you mentioned would work 22x12.00-8 being half an inch narrow than stock, or 22x13.00-8 being 1 inch wider than stock.

i looked up the tire simensions online for this bike in particular. the tire sizes are 22 x11-8. i dont know how these tires are n this bike. these are the original tires from when i bought the bike fro the guy down the street.
