OK, Not to smart as regads to engines. I got my 01 sportrax in late 2000, i rode it a lot, but recently its been sitting, when i went to start it up, it ran and idled forever but when u went to put it in or sit on the seat, it stalled with a mild seize, i thought it could be bad gas so i drained to carberater and put new gas in, still does the same thing, any suggestions?

Even though you drained the gas out the piece of what ever it is might still be in there. You should try taking it out and giving it a good cleaning. Use carb cleaner and spray it into all of the passages.

 

Should i try some sort of dry gas or will that dammage anything

 

there is a inline filter change it take the tank off and flush it with gas as well take the bottom of the carb bowl off its a big nut on the bottow of the carg if there is a lot of crap in the cap of the plug pull the carb off and take the bottom bowl totaly off and clean it well and i sugest you change the oil as well and maybe even see if the spark plug is golden brown or see id it is black or white if its black its getting to much gas not enouph air or the spark pug is bad if the plug is white its getting to little gas and to much air
